theres a lot of people who seem to want these massive battles in halo: reach multiplayer. there idea is having lots of players on a large map with lots of vehicles and explosions.
as far as i know that would be laggy. i know other games in the past successfully have massive battles in there multiplayer. but those are other games and they have there own share of technical challenges that. im no technology expert but also as far as i know, DEDICATED SERVERS DONT FIX EVERY THING AND THEY HAVE THERE OWN PROBLEMS. also your xbox is only so powerful, it may not be able to handle battle over coruscant/ helms deep unless the game is running at like two frames per second.
personally, i think the battles should the small 4 vs. 4 type. the gameplay should be super smooth with balanced weapons on small, well design, bungie creed maps. then throw in the occasional blood gulch/coagulation sized map for some fun warthog action!
so tell me what you think. follow all forum rules!
i should i have specified this. you cant choose both. you should choose which general direction you want bungie to take the multiplayer. small battles like quake 3 team arena or big battles like battlefield.
