Subject: Plasma Weapons Should Have the Effect Like in the Books:

"There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe."
Gospel of John, 1:1-7

They should burn through wood, walls and armour.

I'm tired of useless plasma fire not even scorching my armour, or the wall next to me. It need's to be like in the books, it will burn and do much more damage then in the previous games!

Anyone else feel the same?

The book is written to be a book. The game is designed to be a game.

Huge difference. If the games were like the difficulty of the book, you'd die easily.

i agree with you about 50%. half of me wants everything as devastating as it was in the books(including the Covenant), but the other half says that it would ruin the balance of multiplayer. maybe just in campaign? i don't know...

i would like to see it do what it does in the books, but u have to realize the nightmares that would make for the engine, because it would work differently then most games with distructible enviroments, because it would litterally be melting everything, not just blowing up a crappily rendered wall(yes bad company i am looking at you), with the current technology levels, it would be imposible for them to make the in-game plasma weapons work properly. maybe one day in the future
