Ok I hope this post isnt self surving but here are my ideas and instead of posting them in multiple threads. Here are all of them post some of yours if you like. I am only focusing on weapons and equipment in this thread.



Weapons

Plasma Grenade Gun- Think of how some painball guns have a glass tube showing the painball ammo. Now think of a larger tube. Directly verticle on top of the gun with glowing blue plasma nades. I would partially balance this new gun by making the plasma nades detonate at a later time like the Halo CE plasma nades

M6D/M6G Hybrid- I always wanted the CE pistol back. But wanted balance but to still feel i had a powerful scoped pistol. So like in many post I put this weapon up for votes. I want it to be a 4 shot M6G with a scope. Power but balanced and another option to use on a map. A good variety for midrange and I have that burning feeling for nostalgia

Electric Grenade- Electrocutes Spartans and Elites, It would kill in almost the same rate as the fire grenades. It wouldn't damage vehicles but would emp it like the power drain and it could even temporarily disable thinks like plasma and shade turrets

Smoke Grenade- Not original but would be cool for a flare counter on the human side

M99 Staichon Gauss Rifle- With some drawbacks for balancing I can see this weapon in the game and its canon to halo which is nice

Holographic Equipment- Ok I know some rumors are floating around about some perks. But I have posted this idea long before they were out. An equipment that in campaign can fool the AI temporarily to divert their attention to it. It would be good to setup a flank. Difficulty would play a factor. Easy they could look at it for a long time. Shooting uselessy at it. On Legendary you may only have a few seconds before they become wise to your ploy

AA Human Turret- It can only aim on a certain elevation and can fire things like laser, dual gauss, halo 2 homming rockets, flak gun. It would be tall up to 20 feet and would use your basic combat evolved ladder to get up on it. It would also be destructable and forgeable in forge



This one is for campaign only

Orbital MAC Blast- Call it in to destroy a scarab or a platoon of Covenant. Have to consider whats going on at the times. Are there still human ships in space that havent been destroyed by the covenant

Shiva/Havok Nuclear Warhead- Same idea as the MAC

Futuristic C4- Nice touch for campain lure an enemy to a location and boom. How cool would it be to use my holographic equipment to lure a Zealot into some C4?




Well do you like, disslike, or have some ideas of your own??



Edit:

Repulsor Feild- This equipment would function much like a grav hammer blast except no damage. It would be a split second. But can repulse anything that is fired. Bullets, Rockets, Vehicles, even Spartans (they would get repulesd about a good 10-15 feet. It would deflect whatever hits it and send it into a random direction. In a very rare case it could deflect a sniper if luck is very generous and hit someone else. It would be a really fun vid clip. But to get that timming even by luck would be extremley rare. It could even have a chance at fliping a vehicle

Its applications vs rockets, vehicles and people would be its main purpose

The problem is that all the MAC guns in the orbital stations AND the ships will all be firing at covenant ships, not at their own planet, Reach.

Well I did adress that it may not work depending on whats actually going on in the story. But there could also be a greater objective on the ground

If something greater can be accomplished then they dont have to fire on all the covenant ships especially if reach is hopless. Especially if we are playing when the planet is already glassed...or if we play on a different planent at some point durring the story

There are also UNSC stealth ships that are equiped with MAC. So technically it could all be possible

then the other alternative is a nuke

well a lot of these things require halo reach to expand it's scale. All halo game Have prioritized Detail over scale. Even halo was tiny in comparison to other RTS's.

but we may see something different in reach so it's all possible.

Yes, maybe if there is an alternative mission that takes part on another planet.

I dunno what is going to happen to the Magnum in Reach but I hope it's not useless this time around.

Electric Grenade-
EMP?

Smoke Grenade-
Flare? Only benefit is that the smoke grenade could be used to offensively easier. I.E. Toss and BR people running out of the smoke. I can't see it being a grenade though. Cycling through up to three grenades is enough for me. Balance issues would also probably regulate it to Equipment status.

Pass.

Not sure if want.

AA Human Turret-
Missile Pod Turret. With the ability to literally SPAM as many missiles as you can, nothing will get through. Try the one level on ODST where you go rescue the rest of your rag tag group of heros from the crashed Pelican. You get to use it there. It's brutal. Aim for the Phantoms.

Orbital MAC Blast-
Guns are pointed in the other direction?

Shiva/Havok Nuclear Warhead-
Leukemia > Marines

Futuristic C4-
Not sure if want.

EMP it stands for Electro Magnetic Pulse- It disables electronic equipment. So vs a vehicle it will do the same thing an overcharge from the Plasma Pistol or Powerdrain will do.

Yes.

As to why have the Electric Grenade when we have the EMP. Redundancy down to such a specific level is well... redundant. Not to mention that it does make the EMP inferior as you can carry the Electric Grenade, as well as multiples.

Heck that's prolly just a permanent vehicle lockdown.

I honestly hate the powerdrain. It takes no skill to press X and make most of the other team one shot. I actually would like to see it replaced

or make the powerdrain an overshield remover only even overide the incincible 5 seconds when the person first picks it up. Of course keep the EMP

Or keep the powerdrain as is except not make the area effect as wide as it is now

It wouldnt bee to redudant it would also kill people which the Plasma pistol does horribly and the powerdrain can only do if the person stands over the emiter (by itself)

Flame grenades dont see much in MM but people like them. This would actually be more useful then a flame grenade

also consider delivery many things in Halo blow up. Plasma nades, frag nades, rockets, missle pod, fuel rod, needler, bruteshot, tripmine

as a grenade especially having a kill effect on infantry by no means would make it redundant.

The PP shoots a certain way. Not usually reliable

The power drain rolls and is harder to get a long toss

Also this emp will disable plasma and shade turrets
