after reading sooo many posts in optimacth and reach forums about leveling, guns, and attachments so on

it seems that the community wants halo like cod.. i dont but, im just saying...it would be cool to see i game like that

the call of duty engine, halo style..amzing stuff waiting to happen right there

but, with all these people asking for stuff that just doesnt fit for the multiplayer engine of the game i dont think much of its going to happen

what i think SHOULD happen is they remove some of the pointless close range weapons that get destroyed be everything else, and add some more longrange and midrange weapons

we need rifles to challenge snipers at extreme long range, there should be a counter to every weapon, not an overpowered weapon that once in the right ends will resolve in the other team quiting...we need the game to have balanced weapons that keep the players going, maybe having the ar pistol( but the pistol being the halo ce pistol with some modifications so they stand a chance towards the people controlling the whole entire map with power weapons)

some remakes of classic would be nice, hows about blood gulch, just redo it like lock out to black out
most people hate the latter, but it almost achieved what it was aimed for. bungie.. i hope you largely increase the amount of multiplayer maps, maybe there should be an additional disk with all the halo ce, halo 2, halo 3 maps reskinned and redone for reach (asking for a bit much lol)

welll, im really looking forward to this, and some of the ideas the bungie team has had with this game, i hope its gonna be realll good

oooo and more vehicles(bring back the spectre even though i hate it, we should have massive hordes of vehicles for giant maps that are shaped like a valley, huge vehicular battles with hangers for more then the 2 aircraft in the game.. download halo custom edition and look for some maps called extinction..and hugea_ss lol forget about underscore)

those two maps feature player created models that fit into the halo system and some overly sized maps that seem implayable but could work some how..

they included vehicles from the halo books, like the cant remeber name covenant fighter shaped like a tear drop, the included like 4 diffferent kinds of warthogs, a smaller crawling sort of thing with a rail gun to counter the scarab, and man sooooo much

hopefully some of the community created content from halo custom edition is giving bungie some ideas for there new game

and an improved forge mode that lets you like snap objects and stuff, and ghost merge without the process 'no clip'

There is a counter to every weapon the problem is alot of the community doesn't understand how to change dependent on the situation.

I disagree with the more weapons thing, COD has alot of weapons that are clones, sure they have different stats but they are all really the same thing. Halo has one gun for it's particular class and it works extremely well.

As for the disc with all the maps, I don't think you understand how long it takes to create a multiplayer map for a triple A title. The dev team would probably need a year and a half to two years to make that disc your talking about. And that is not cost effective.

Have to say I agree with the more vehicles, I loved the Spectre from Halo 2 and the prowler was not a good replacement (what happened to the boost?!)

Wait one second Hugeass and Extinction don't work! They are cool to check out because of the interesting vehicles but the gameplay on them is truly atrocious. Bungie does not have the luxury of creating content for -blam!-s and giggles like the community does, every multiplayer map has to cater to all the players that will be on it not just the guys that love vehicles.

What close range weapon is useless. I get kills with just about every gun. And I know how good a mid range weapon like the BR is but i know when to use my AR, PR, SMG, and Spikers

Which one do you think is useless?

yea i no lol, i just thought that bunige could incorporate some ideas from these too make them alot more playable emphasis on the alot

Things like the shotgun, hammer, and swords...they are good in specific situations but not in most...like the hammer is almost useless off host (yellow bar) and thats why there is alot of hate for it, and well sword sword is good because you can lunge, but the shotgun is counter to that

they all cancel each other out, what else are they good for?

Plus im not a fan of spikers and plasma rifles so on, but they are good for taking shields down and thats about it lol

soz im like barely awake, just a few remakes sounds better aye lol

whats i was trying to come across with was them remaking some of the best original maps, but reskining them for reach
