~Dan

Well most of you or maybe all of you know the AI in halo 3 was great but it had some problems. For example... when i would get in the warthog on "Tsavo Highway" (after it was flipped by an enemy) the marines would just stand there and not get in thus get killed unless i hit them or made them engage a foe, only then would they get in, making them more of a nussence then a assitant. And the Arbiter would get himself killed so many times its not even funny he would stand there half the time and not even fight, he would pull out his sword when his sheilds are down and the stand there forever untill he ended up dieing. he hide behind walls him as an allie is like playing with your 4 year old sister whos blind! And another example is with the chieftens(Brute Leader)they freeze for no reason while i fought them, and dont fight back or even move but the sound effects came out when id attack em, (THIS IS NOT GLITCHES ITS THE PROGAMMED AI BRAIN AND GLITCHES WITH THAT). And my final Example and PROOF is the level "The Covenant" GO to the level the covenant and load it from Either Alpha or Bravo (or the part where u fly the hornets) and get in the hornet the marines wont get in your hornet unless you load the first checkpoint!

So my question to you is what do you think the AI is going to be like in Reach?

Will they crouch walk to sneak up on u so we cant see em on radar (if we have one)?

Will they not have the problems H3 AI had?

Let me know what you think or tell me what you think they should or shouldnt fix/program the enemys and allies to do or not do in reach.
~Thanks

I would like to see more intelligent enemies as you increase the difficulty settings instead of simply giving the NPCs bigger HPz

for example on legendary you would run in to more well planed ambushes. and elites would cover each-other as they advance and flank you.

Pretty sure the AI is the same for all difficulties, enemies just seem better smarter on higher difficulties because they live longer (you die faster they don't have more HPs).

Whats up with Spartans calling Elites Dinosaurs? I mean Spartans are the ones almost extinct! XD

I agree, if some key details in the Halo books were emphasised into the Halo alittle more than that problem wouldnt exist...Im sure anyone whose played the campaign have experienced some bs relating to the AI.

[As of October 2012]
2013 ADFA Officer Cadet of the RAAF (Aerospace Engineer Electronics Officer).

I would like the AI to try search you out if you dissapear from sight or alternatively group together, if you've ever played Crysis what I'm talking about is like how the enemy soldiers would either patrol into the forest to find you or they'd regroup at a building, etc.

You seemed to have miss understood me. this is what I would like to see in Halo reach not an observation of previous halo games.
