"They let me pick... did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever Spartan I wanted. You know me. I did my research. Watched as you became the soldier we needed you to be. Like the others you were strong and swift and brave, a natural leader. But you had something they didn't. Something no one saw but me. Can you guess? Luck."

Maybe even change the # of lives? or have an option of infinite lives... but obviously put inscentives not to do that and disadvantages for doing it.You're on to something there. I think that the lives system would have to change if this were a matchmaking playlist. I think that individual players should get a certain number of lives per round; as opposed to the current team pool. There are going to be some that feel the need to betray people, so maybe take lives off the betrayer's ticker for friendly kills and not penalize the victim.
To make this idea more balanced, the easier it gets = a negative point reducer. ( so more lives= less points, spawns with rocket sniper= less points) But if you have less lives you get like a times 2 point modifier, same would apply if you start off with different skulls..
But for FF, I was thinking that you should be able to "call in" things or buy things with your points..
For example, for an X amount of points you get a few marines to help you, ODST's would be the next lvl up and cost more but they are a lot better. Same would apply for Spartans , you call them, there expensive but are worth it.
Other stuff could be added like for an X amount of points you call in a weapon drop, or a med pack refill, or maybe something like a pelican air raid which destroys all enemy vehicles and maybe like 50% of the phantoms.
