with a person who noticed the site link in the theatrical trailer, then a bunch of people who blew it way out of proportion by going so far as to say that halo 2 is coming out in august.

this one person put up a thread claiming that at the end of the halo2 cinema preview, the xbox.com logo flashes to ilovebees.com. many were skeptical at first, but when they watched the trailer themselves, they found it to be true. when they went to ilovebees.com, they found a wierd message laid overtop the main page. this message contained three countdown timers indicating three specific events were to happen in the near future. the nearest one was to happen in three days. the event was labeled as "the network throttling will erode." the second timer indicated seventeen days, and claimed that the something-or-other will "metasize". the third, and final timer was a little more exact, showing days, hours, minutes, seconds, and milliseconds. the end of the message demanded that you "make your descisions accordingly".

this led to a massive thread, the biggest these forums have ever seen. it ended up containing well over 7000 posts. eventually it was locked due to the massive amount of flaming and spam. *edit* shiska set up a standard set of rules about ILB. they can be viewed in the new mombasa lobby.

i still think they should have waited till they got to 7777 posts :)

I've often wondered why they like 7 so much. What does it have to do with anything? Of they may just be trying to trick us by making us think too much about something that isn't there. (that's what i personally think the whole site is about. But i guess i'll figure it out tonight, since network throttling erodes in 1 days)

somehow 7 is a very odd number (get it, odd!). it doesn't really follow any set of mathematical rules. lets say i get the number 44753. i know it isn't divisible by 2, it isn't even. i also know that it isn't divisible by three because the sum of it's digits isn't a multiple of 3. but as for 7...

will we ever know the tru7h?
