*Ahem hem*
As I scroll through these forum I see an increasing number of topics dealing with a huge range of ideas for Halo: Reach. One that stands out is the whole conundrum of Class Based Gameplay. Stop lying, I know you know what that is so live with it. Anyway, my humble opinion on this is that I don't believe that that fits in with the type of games Bungie makes. The obvious difference is that Halo isn't Battlefield (EA is retarded). Let's say we have 3 standard classes: "Close Range" "Assault" and "Long Range." Close range would have a shotgun and SMG or something, Assault would have Assault Rifle (duh!)and BR or something.Long range would have a Sniper Rifle and a Automag. The problem would be that everybody would probably flock to either close range (Shotgun>All at close range) or Long Range (Sniper>All at long range). Therefore practically nobody would pick "Assault" and the game would be the same thing, Snipers would -blam- close range and then get the other team's snipers. In other words it would be a very boring and repetitive game and be reliant on luck. What do you think? Discuss below.
