OK, so Spartans have binoculars, right? And the gun's reticule is on your HUD, right? So, every gun should have a zoom.
Also, I don't know if anyone's noticed this but your binoculars zoom more than a BR's scope.

The clue is in the name. Weapons with a smartlink scope, such as the M6D pistol, have a little optic (such as a tiny camera) on them instead of a optical scope. This then sends data to the user's HUD about the magnification.

Still, if the reticule is on your HUD, it isn't not going to be on your HUD just because you increase the magnification of your binoculars.

but why cant the binoculars have a reticule relative to the muzzle? It would not be out of the way and it would make the AR easier to use at mid to long range. BTW the ARs max range is 120m bigger than most small and medium maps. and it is accurate enough to hit the torso.
