Kind of like Halo 2. How it was kind of like 2 different campaigns. Except, instead of being MC and Arbitor. You could be the spartans, (Or whoever is in Reach) and the covenent? That way, you would be like Grunts, Jackals, Brutes, etc.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: Basicly, you would switch from Spartans, to Covenent, to spartans, to covenent between each cutscene.

There is no point in having a covenant campaign other than to give players things to kill. There is no profound viewpoint or story to explore that isn't already covered by the Spartan side.

Dont be angry, I'm obligated to whip your ass; if I didn't you wouldn't be getting your moneys worth.

im assuming in single player your chief but if coop you play as the others. You should be able to play as any spartan once you've regrouped with them and switch between any of them at any time in game. It would be cool to play as covenant but more than likely isn't gonna happen. If it ever did it would be in there own game. they could do a story about a covenant squad rebelling against the brutes and tie it into arbiters story somehow.

Resignation is my virtue; like water I ebb, and flow.
Defeat is merely the addition of time to a sentence I never deserved...but you imposed.

The idea has been said before, I'm not too attached to the idea.

My guess is more than likely it will switch from spartan to spartan, such as odst switched from squad member to squad member.

Eh, whatever. I'm just glad I'm not getting any trolls.

There isn't any need for it. The only reason you played as Covenant in Halo 2 was to flesh out the makings of a Civil War between the Brutes and Elites and why they would later be paired with humans. Seeing as how there wasn't really anything like that during this time (as far as I know) it isn't really needed.

The only thing I want in the campaign is intensity. Halo 3 lacked that immensely, and the only intense levels in Halo 2 (in my opinion at least) were Sacred Icon/Quarantine Zone.
