How many times have you heard on the Halo: Reach forums that it should be more like Modern Warfare 2 with the Fast-Pace gameplay and more addictive Multiplayer with weapon customization these are all good ideas but very generic. I have a different idea something that was inspired by playing Half Life 2. Halo: Reach could have Episodes that paint a bigger picture of Reach. Half Life 2's story is explained through the main game but then it's story is continued through Episode One, Episode Two and currently in-development Episode Three all enhancing the Half Life experience through changes in gameplay. For example Episode One allowed you to experience a Post-Apocalyptic setting similar to Fallout 3 and fight your way through City 17 then in Episode Two you could experience massive maps and witness Epic battles and see Real-Time dynamic shadows new to the Source engine. This could be implemented into Halo: Reach, Bungie has revealed Reach will be their last Video Game set in the Halo universe that does not necessarily mean that the Episodes will have to be developed by Bungie remember 343 Industries could develop this Episodic content or even Wingnut Interactive who where originally going to Co-Develop Halo: Chronicles and that would be a Video Game adaption of large segments of the Novel Halo: The Fall of Reach which would of sold as DLC ie Episodic content on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Now onto what the Episodes could be based on. Episode One would most probably be a expansion of the Halo: Reach storyline featuring the same Protagonist presumably Noble One or Sierra-259 based on the Debut trailer, although it could show a brand new Storyline with brand new Characters and personally does it need to be Canon. As for Episode Two or even a Episode Three I think it's best for the Community to discuss it.

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

As long as the single player modules are not required for multiplayer.

Yea that would be a hoop the developers would have to jump through.
