Covenant vehicle: MANTIS (belongs to the jackals) Like a ghost in that its a scout vehicle, its a two seater and is incredibly fast and agile, but also very easy to destroy. In the campaign they're driven by only the jackals, (and you of course) the first seat is at the front, the driver seat, and the second is just behind, the vehicle is quite small, and the color of a spectre, or an anti-air wraith. it is used in the same way as a mongoose, and in the back seat is a turret, the equivelant of fireing two needlers, two barrels which fire purple needle rounds rapidly one after the other, the needles explode on impact however as a pose to only exploding once a certain amount are stuck to something, and they don't lock on, plus as they explode on impact they don't just bounce off vehicles they make small explosions, doing some damage, when useing the turret it is in first person veiw, making them much harder to aim whilst moving, the driver controls the boosters, top speed without the boosters is equivelant to a boosting ghost, but with boosters they go about as fast as a plasma pistol bullet, boosting should only EVER be used if going up a ramp or in a massive open plain. because crashing at that speed could result in serious casualties, steering whilst boosting is almost impossible. They are effectively for quick getaways or to get somewhere quickly, ideas? criticism? niceness? =]
