Bungie, aren't you worried about all the games coming out BEFORE Reach? You see this proof by looking how many people play Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST. I have seen many people move on from game to game to game. I guess that it would add to the suspense. Although A LOT of people like to get the newest games, people might get bored of the series. I am still a BIG fan of Bungie and the Halo series. So think about it, how many people do you know that have moved on from game to game to game?

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

When a new game comes out, people will always play the -blam!- out of it. I did with MW2 and am with L4D2. It's the way of the world. Look at what happened when ODST came out. People played the -blam!- out of it for weeks. Eventually, people will settle with their new games or go back to the old. It's the way of the world. Bungie really doesn't have anything to worry about. It's better the wait for the hype of current games to die down before releasing their own (this is of course why a lot of titles were pushed back to 2010, to avoid completing with some of the major releases this year).

Right now, my main focus is on MW2, but once I've done mostly everything. I'll probably bounce from Halo 3>GoW2>MW2 and repeat. Only games I own right now. But I'll be getting Left 4 Dead 2 and Alien vs Predator. Then after awhile, just be bouncing from all those games. You can expect people to play one game forever, when they maybe in the mode for a different game.

NO! No, no no no no!

ODST was rushed and didn't live up to everyone's expectations.
Do not rush!

[PLEASE REMAIN CALM!]

Rule #1 when making a game. Never rush it. Rushing a game makes a crappy game, it's a very basic rule that's been proven time and time again by publishers forcing developers to launch games that weren't ready.

I don't see people getting "tired" of the series. The larger worry that I have is oversaturation. I don't want yearly Halo games made by alternating developers with one just piggybacking off the others work (e.g. Call of Duty with IW and Treyarch where Treyarch just takes the last CoD game IW made and modifies it for their own not really innovating or bringing anything new).
