try www.musicplasma.com It's great for finding music near your own tastes. Just type in the name of a band, and it gives you bands of similar style displayed visually.

Blue Man Group. one of the most origional bands i have even seen/heard. didn't use a single word in any of thier songs (until thier second album, the Complex), and they use an array of intruments made of mostly PVC pipe. they do use "regular" instruments like guitras and drum, but how many opther bands to you know of that bang on PVC pipe, paint pictures using drums and marshmallows, and can bang on 40 foot drum walls? all twice a night, every night, except on saturdays, when they play 3 shows.

Try In Flames. You may not like his singing at first, but after a few spins its just plain addictive.

Yeah Dimmu Borgir is good. Satanic, but don't hold that against them. You don't have to be a satanist to listen to satanic music.

yoo•zel- ('yoo-zhul): slang: vb.

Officium quod Fidelitas.

Osker and Kid Dyniamite, are some extreamly good bands. Both have broken up, but have put out two amazing reccords each.
