In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

#1: When half your team quits and it turns into 2v5 or 1v5 match you should not loose any exp for quitting the match. Same goes for the team that doesn't want to spend the entire game searching for that one guy.
#2: Setup a way to detect if a player is being really unsupportive. Like players trying to derank by constantly committing suicide. Or players shooting at their team-mates to lower shields so their team looses but they don't loose exp.
#3: If it's gonna cost $60, make sure it won't just sit on my shelf after a few games.
1. Better yet, make steeper penalties for quitting to discourage it.
2. The first idea seems like a good one. The second seems unrealistic.
3. That's your opinion. Halo 3, after 2 years, is still one of the most player games no xbox live.
1. Steeper penalties isn't the answer. What if a group of people on an xbox lag out accidentally? Punish them? A simple code that checks if your team has less than half the number of players than your enemies before you quit could be implemented. Well I don't know if it's simple. But I'm quite sure it's possible.
2. Not really. Make a seperate bin of variables. One that records suicide, and damage done to teamates. And other things like that. After the equivalent damage of two betrayals, or after five suicides, autoboot. Like inactivity.
3. Agreed.
1. Well, if they were to add steeper penalties, I would hope they'd also have a system in place to detect if a player lags out. If they do, then no penalty. If a player quits out, then harsh penalties ensue (should have mentioned this originally. My bad).
