Bungie please bring back balancing like in Halo:CE for weapons.

Rifles: The MA5B was good for okay range and could kill quickly in full auto.
The Plasma Rifle stuned on headshots but didn't kill as quickly.

Pistols: The M6D had good damage, damage boost on headshots, and could go full auto.

The Plasma Pistol had okay damage could stun on headshots and could be charged for powerful bursts.

Both these sets are balanced in Halo others need weapons from Halo 2 and further.


Ok...

Snipers: The sniper rifle has strong damage, is reloadable, and can fire more shots.

Why wouldn't the sniper be reloadable. And the sniper has always had 4 rounds in a magazine, it'll stay that way.

The Particle Beam Rifle has the same damage, overheats, and can fire tree good paced shots before overheating.

Alright...

Anti sniper: The Battle rifle should be nerfed a little, The spread for it makes it easier to hit people, it should also get a damage reduction, and a scope that zooms 2X not 4X.

The Spread makes it HARDER to kill people. The BR in Halo 2 was WAY better than the one in Halo 3, because there was little to no spread.

The Needler has small ammo clip, quick rate of fire, and good damage, I think single needles should a bit of damage like in Halo:CE.

What?

Rocket launchers: They are both good to use.

Mmk...

Sub Machine Guns: The M7 is abullet hose that is good at close quarters.

Alright...

The covenant need an smg.

So what do you call the spiker and the plasma rifle?

CQB: The shotgun should be a mixture of Halo and Halo 3's.

The sword should be like Halo 2's.

Please do not send me "recruitment messages" as I'm not interested in joining any groups currently.

Remove or alter Dual Wielding to prevent "half weapon syndrome". Done.

At least that would be a start. Personally I wouldn't mind the BR being split into the M7s and M6C/SOCOM as it was in ODST and having these two weapons being the default spawn weapons;
There would be a skill gap due to recoil and the ability to teamshoot courtesy of the increased range and 2X scope on the SMG, yet even more skilled players would realise that the Automag has a 4X scope and is only good for headshots thus allowing it to be a finisher and nothing more.

This would encourage the hunt for better weapons (maybe a BR or a Carbine as well as power weapons?) and still allow players to be combat worthy from the spawn (assuming it balances well witht he rest of the sandbox, having the starting weapon set be too dominant doesn't seem like a good idea to me).

Halo CE's balance was crap.
Halo 2's balance was big pile of s**t.
Halo 3's balance was mediocre. (still better than the others installments)

If you really want to bring balance to Halo, you should give every weapon the headshot damage multiplayer (besides the explosive and flame weapons) and as a rule, automatic weapon should have a lower damage per bullet than a BR or Carbine, but should still kill faster than those two weapons at close to (maybe) mid range.

There you go, you now have more balanced and less stupid FPS.

Uh OP u never played Halo: CE did you? ...... Looking at the stuff you said I'm guessing not .... If we were to take the "balance" from Halo: CE then the plasma pistol would be everones weapon of choice killing everyone quickly or the Magnum for that 4 - 5 shot kill ....
