i have noticed that games seem to be going for a more dull aproach to graphics, with less bright colours and stuff (cod, gears ect). so i was wondering if people would prefer a bit more colour in reach, or if they wanted the more realistic approach. i think that they could do a mixture: give the covvies bright shiny armour, vehicles and weapons, but make it contrast with the enviroment and human stuff. but mabey bright colours could contrast with the mood (imagine a shiny gears of war lol)

(i dont think the dull thing is bad, i couldnt think of a nice sounding word for it)

Your in Bad Company.

I like both, realism mixed with more "fantastical" colours.

No holds bar killing!

I like you opinion about keeping covenant stuff shiny, while makeing the human gear more earthy.

Too much of anything is never a good thing. A mixture is good, as that is what life is. There are whites and blacks and every color in between.

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

I would like a mix.

In Halo 1, MC's armor was on reflective side, but it was so dirty and scratched that you couldn't tell unless it was in extreme light.

I also like how the Elite armor is really polished and smooth, like a ceramic plastic.

I think armors and the like should start out polished and "new", and as more combat occurs, the polish wears off. But the armor in H3 wasn't reflective at all.
