Queen is awesome.

If any of you preordered one of the more expensive packages of Modern Warfare 2, then you might know what I'm talking about. With the preordered Modern Warfare 2 you get a code that is a free download for Call of Duty: Classic, which is just Call of Duty 1 with added online play. I think that bungie should consider doing this (possibly packaged with Reach). I believe that this is doable, because Infinity Ward did it so Bungie should be able to also. That Call of Duty was released after X-Box Live came online, I believe.

The problem with Halo: CE is that it was released before X-Box Live. That means none of the code, NONE WHATSOEVER, is compatible with X-Box Live.

Xbox Live was launched November 15, 2002

COD1 was launched for the *Computer* in October 29, 2003

However COD1 was never released on the Xbox. So they never prepped it for Xbox Live, however it did have online. So I'm assuming the transition wasn't that hard.

And chickenlittle your right, H1's netcode was never designed for Live. So it would be incredibly difficult for Bungie to convert it.

It's a shame because I guess they were preparing it for Live but Live wasn't ready in time so they had to drop it. Imagine how much different everything would be.
