yep i had a friend like a month and a half ago wire me up a cord so i could play with my xbox controller on my PC, i had to go on the internet and download the software so it would work , but i think it is way better then the mouse, bad things though are that u can only use each button on the controller for one thing, so like in xbox halo X is to reload i think and pick up weapons if u hold it, but u cant use it twice like that and also sometimes it moves on its own a little but it might be my controller im not sure

I use my xbox controller as well. It is kind of a pain that you can't bind multiple commands to a single button (reload, action, swap weapon). I wonder if thats something that can be addressed? Or does anyone know of a work around?

Exactly what do I need to play halopc with an xbox controller? I don't think I could lose a slayer game if I was using the xbox controller. Many situations have I played and thought if I had the xbox controller I could have killed hime in 2 seconds flat.

What do I need? what do I download? How do I set it up?

I play Halo with a PC controller, and I don't even assign reload or exchange weapon. Assigning Action to X will do all 3 commands.
