Whoever said that beta testing lasts for months, I guess that's incorrect in this case. From the Friday, July 2nd update:
"So, this week was a mighty important week. We finished and started to manufacture the internal Halo 2 Beta. That means that lots of lucky Bungie and Microsoft employees (and we mean lots) will be playing a few multiplayer levels from Halo 2, for a few short weeks. "
When I hear a few, I think of 3(that's the definition I grew up on, I'm saying). That'd mean that the initial beta testing stopped around the 23, or last Friday. As this guy's saying, maybe the network throttling eroding is the end of beta testing. This whole thing is wierd. I mean, I seriously doubt it'll be a demo, and it seems odd that Halo 2 could be ready in one month, but then I think, why else put the Ilovebees thing in the trailer? For a few simple pictures or videos to be unvieled on the 24? Seems odd to me. Also some people are saying that this is going to be an announcement of Bungie's next game, which they are saying is another Oni game, but Bungie doesn't own the Oni rights, so....
