Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I decided to give H2V another chance. Fired up the game, checked Live server browser... no games. Played about 20 minutes of campaign, while TrustedInstaller sucked up all my CPU, then went back. Found a CTF game. Got spawn killed for 10 minutes by 2 tanks, left and found another game. The next was Territories on Foundation with random weapons. Pretty fun. Just as it was getting intense, Vista closed the game on me without warning and installed updates. Waited 10 minutes for that to finish, then system rebooted. Vista started and spent another 5 minutes installing updates. Finally restarted the game so I could rejoin the action... and the server browser doesn't work again. What a piece of -blam!-.

Check out my Gaming Rig on EVGA Mod Rigs.

If you dislike Halo 2 Vista so much why do you keep playing it and posting hate threads? Maybe its time to play some Borderlands or Halo Wars to get your mind off it.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

I've brought up this same point to him before, I don't understand the need to punish yourself over and over either.

But I enjoy the hate threads. Those of us that threw down 50 bucks for this POS deserve to hate on it now.

lol, fair enough. I picked it up when it was $30 so I don't feel as bad.

I am however a large Halo fan and came into H2V knowing that it was flawed from the git-go. I'm pretty sure it was no secret to anyone that Halo 2 for Xbox and PC were both flawed in several ways.

To me that doesn't make either of them terrible.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

To be honest, i dont like hate threads. They make you sound immature. I prefer constructive critcism.

Halo 2 could have been better, but they didn't patch the bugs like they should've.

Also, i've played both versions, and halo 2 pc has more bugs and hackers.

Also, here is what the critics think of halo 2 pc, and any review, good or bad > hate threads.

I concur. We all know H2V wasn't perfect. It was never a secret that it flopped from the start.

The constructive criticism approach didn't work. Quite the opposite in fact, when it became clear that people were unhappy with a number of issues, Microsoft basically disbanded Hired Gun and left the game to rot. Bungie towed the line that the game would do this and that, and then you never heard anything again from them either. It's like the game never existed. The people looking to buy H2v should know that there are serious problems with this game, and many of us who bought it early on are not happy.

This is an old account iDarkWint3r is my new Bungie.net user.

Microsoft are just sitting in tables pulling out coffee and "exaggerate" about the crap compiled game.Until one Microsoft Member says"Hey I know why don't we leave it in the Gamestop stores and let our Piss poor public PC Gamers buy this crap PC game?".Bungie didn't even help it one bit except for hosting dedicated servers for it.

Having problems finding games, when I browse for games it finds nothing. Is this problem common or is there something on my side that will correct it. I have played H2v alot and I was having the same problems a few months back then it stopped. I just moved to a new PC and now I can't find any games. But I do connect to My Live account and can see friends and messages ect. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
