Well, isn't this an interesting twist.

Check out my Gaming Rig on EVGA Mod Rigs.

I can't believe someone actually voted No.

I would enjoy this a great deal but only if done right. Keep in mind that a lot of changes would likely happen to the weapons we all know and love for the sake of fairness.

My question is the game as is.....no changes to gameplay.

If they changed even 1 thing, I would not play it. The fact of the matter is, and remains that H1 is never coming out with online play.

Maybe.

RIP Halo 2

Absolutely. But I'm not gonna get my hopes up because I highly doubt it'll ever happen.

Absolutely. Xbox LIVE compatibility is the only thing that's stopping it from being perfect.

I'd love to see that, but if I recall correctly even Bungie said it would have needed significant changes is the weapon balance to make it work on XBL.

Either way I would gladly play it. :D

Definitely

I'd pay an obscene amount of money for an xbox live enabled version of Halo CE, provided that Bungie was absolutely verboten from changing anything in the process.

Hell, we recreated the fracking game in UT2004 using Halo PC assets, that's how desperate we were for that.

Long time Halo fan.

heck yes.

So why dont they make the effort? One would think that they could make some money off it.

Dudes, just go download xbc, XBC stands for Xbox Connect. It is software that runs on your PC and will let you play Halo, Halo 2, Rainbow Six 3 or any other compatible game and you can play with people all over the world. If you got a PC, broad band internet connection.

XBConnect works by making your Xbox think it is participating in a local area network (LAN). Best part of all, it's completely legal, and completely free to use. Any System Link game including Halo CE.

Here is where you can download it:
