I've beaten the entire game on solo Legendary, but I can't seem to hold my own in Multiplayer Split-Screen or System Link. Anyone have any tips, regarding weapons, movement, positioning, accuracy, sniping, game-type strategy, spill all your guts in these topics. Thanks.

it dosent matter how many times you beat the game in Led. Multiplayer your playing real people, who can make decions and act better. The first step is too relize that your opponet is completty diffrent and that means you have to deveplop new stragies

aim for the head, ang make them think ure invincible :D
no, seriously. try to hit them from behind, and use their thinking against them.
look how they react on an attack, u will see, they react like that almost the same way.
and think, what would u do if you were in your enemys situation :D

Play against 2 or 3 people in multiplayer and make sure it is team deathmatch and you the only person on your team. You probably won't win a'lot but it will help you get used to tracking multiple opponents and strategizing. If your playing on a team and using the same screen as you opponents learn how to communicate with you teamates without actually talking. Learn how to set up choke points ( getting the enemy to go through a spot that will give you and you teamates good firing angles) and how to get crossfires going to maximize enemy losses.

As for weapon strategies if you have teams than do what I like to call the "MEATGRINDER" This involves one person carrying a plasma rifle and everyone else carrying AR. Travel in a group ( this works best in enclosed levels ) and always have the person using the Plasma rifle fire first then follow up with a full barrage of AR bullets. This really messes up the opponents in Multiplayer.

Also turn you look sensitivity up higher to allow you to turn faster. It will take some getting used to but it is worth it.

And if your in sidewinder or blood gulch try to only use vehicles when necessary, they tend to be bullet magnets. And there also major targets for any one with any skill who has a sniper rifle or rocket launcher.

That's pretty much all that I can reveal without out giving up my personal secrets so the best thing that you can do is thry to set up LAN parties and practice but have the teams use seperate teams.

my answer is umm distance, distance is everything in halo as each weapon works specifically best at certain ranges. this must be taken into account for your weapon choices and your enemies. a simple example you have an assult rifle and your friend is charging at you with a shotgun, simply keep running backwards and shooting and he will not take advantage of the fact that his gun can kill you in one shot from close range wheras one round of an assult rifle from medium range (if well placed will kill him). however this gets more complicated as you must take into account both of his guns and both of your guns another simple example your carrying a sniper rifle and a pistol wheras your friend has a plasma rifle and a shotgun. hes at a distance and charging at you, you hit him once with the sniper rifle you however make a few misses and have just finished reloading your sniper rifle when his plasma rifle hits you twice and knocks of yourshield, your friend on noticing you have no shield takes out his shotgun and from the distance he is at takes pot shots with it knocking your health down 3 bars. in this situation the simple solution is back up, keeping him at a distance and take out your pistol wich is more suited to mid range battle and take your 3 shots assuming he has his shield built back up as if he doesent it will only take 1 shot.
these are very simple examples, but the point is to consider the range of the enemys weapon and your own range. different styles conflict but at the end of the day it depends how far away they is fo.
