Subject: "Forgotten" Great Games.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

What games do you think are underrated or have been rated well, but not recognized enough (wether it be in only your mind, or otherwise)?

I'd have to say Zelda: Occarina of Time, and Longest Journey.

Zelda: OoT was underrated, in my mind. Sure, most people thought it was an awesome game,... but I just think that it should have gotten even more praise. It was simply great... I wish I still had it.

Longest Journey, I think, was not recognized enough. It got a 91% rating in PC Gamer, but I've never seen anyone (magazines or people) talk about it after that, besides myself (maybe I just missed something). Although, ironically, it was a little on the short side, it was an awesome blend of sci-fi and fantasy... proof that point-and-click adventure games can still kick ass.... I wish I still had this game, too....

Every Bungie game besides Halo and Oni is virtually unknown, and Oni is underrated.

That was another one. Oni. I've only played the demo (which was pretty damn cool), but even with just that, I was confused at how PC Gamer could give it just a 70 something percent... Surely, it wasn't THAT bad.

Definitely, I found myself thinking of random tunes of that game in my head. Anyway, Starfox64, and something called Beetle Adventure Racing.

I got bored with Starship titanic really fast... Now my iMac is sitting in my closet collecting dust, perhaps I should pull it out again?

It's good, although wandering around does get a bit boring. Annoyingly, I got the budget version, so I didn't get any 3D specs with it :-(

I got mine for $2.00 at a yard sale, and how can you tell if it is the 3D version?

Here's one: Freedom Fighters. It got a very high score(9.3 from Gamespot to be exact) and yet almost no one knows about it. It's one of my favorite games of all time. I can't wait for the sequal !

If it's the 3D version you get a pair of 3D specs. If it's not then you don't (and it tells you about it in the manual). But the game's the same anyway (even including the 3D part).

Yes I think the SF series is very under raited. It's my fave series of all time. Halo is second and Freedom Fighters is third.
