Howdy everyone, i've been frantically searching for the last few days for help with this problem, and hopefully I've come to the right place now. I just purchased a logitech mx518 optical mouse, and (after having a mx500 before, and having no problems at all) as soon as i opened halo my sensitivity was sky high. Even when i set the sensitivity down to 1, it's still too high to really be playable, and adjusting the mouse sensitivity on the desktop has no effect on the in game sensitivity. Any ideas/fixes?

i have no clue on how to fix this. sounds like a driver issue, but no solution that i can think of.

If it is a driver issue, try rolling back the mouse driver to the previously installed one. [[WARNING: DO NOT ROLL BACK DRIVER UNLESS YOU ARE CERTAIN THERE IS ANOTHER DRIVER TO ROLL BACK TO!]] Unless youre fairly literate using a computer, itll be hard to use a computer without a mouse period.

But dont roll back a driver just for the sake of playing one game. Besides, if your old mouse still works fine, use that one when playing Halo.

check to see if mouse acceleration is on, if it is, then turn it off.

Yeah, the mx518's on the fly sensitivity changes dont make a difference in the game, either. It's on the original drivers that I got with the mouse, maybe there are some newer drivers out that would help.
