Subject: When you die in a vehicle....

i was playing some halo... ok... a lot of halo, and i was annoyed by how the master cheif falls through the vehicle when he dies. in fact, i've always been anoyed by that.

now here is where halo 2 comes in. I was hopeing that in halo 2, if you die in a hog or ghost or whatever, you should tumble out gracefully. unless you're blown up. if you get blown up you should fly out. and yeah.

thats what would be cool in halo 2.

Sure. I could see that happening. Bungie is trying to pay careful attention to small details (not sarcastic).

Your body should stay in it (but all your stuff falls out), and then when someone else runs up to get in the vehicle, they grab yourr body and push you out and then just take off.

It would be cool if when you snipe someone in the head in a vehicle their upper body slumps onto the dashboard, leaving a fresh corpse for the next person who would use the vehicle.

That would be pretty cool, but only if you are in a Hog, if you are on a Ghost, I don't think you would stay in by yourself. Still that would be a much bigger graphical improvement on the original.

Desolation and Dill X read my mind. I think that if you get shot from the driver side (meaning the bullet would push you further into the vehicle) that your body should stay there until someone pulls you out. If you get shot from the passenger side, then you should fall out. That would be cool.

i also think that corpses that are killed outside the hog and land on it should stay on it.

for example, i think that you should be able to drive around with an elite on the grill of your hog.

Hopefully there will be better improvements in vehicle situations. Like maybe the passenger can reload his -blam!- gun instead of having to use the entire clip. And when you throw gernades from the jeep you shouldn't stand up, or at least not have it look so bizarre like in Halo.

I hope so too, but i'm pretty sure that they didn't have it fixed by e3, if they are fixing it that is.

ok in a ghost if sniped in the head they will lean forward on the dash and vehicle stops, when u hit x to get in you jump up and kick them out (like boarding from the front), so you kick them out with your feet and ur in! hard to explain, but for those of you who've seen frontal boarding on the ghost know what im talking about
