I hate cheaters and modders as much as the next guy, but truth is this stuff can never be fully stopped. It can, however, be reduced greatly. That is up to bungie. This is my view as far as trash talk goes: I used to take halo very seriously, the few chances I had to play, I played a lot. I would get frustrated easily when I wasn't doing well and act like a jerk when I was doing well. I then realized I hate it when they do it to me, why do it to them? I no longer care whatsoever about my ranking. I now play mainly custom games and the occasional matchmade or team training game with a friend . It truly does make halo more enjoyable. The only problem with it is people are quick to judge me by my rank before I even play with them. People need to chill and not be so serious about halo, after all it's just a game. If you spend all your time worrying about your rank it makes it less enjoyable.
