(sry about messing up the poll... how'd i get two of the same on there???)
I interview Mr. Steele. It was entertaining, but I do not know anything new. He kept stating the obvious and denying bungie having to do with www.ilovebees.com. I am posting the interview so people can decide wether or not he is fake or real. If bungie could clear this up for us, all the better. Here it is:
Nik says:
what do you know about the ilovebees site?
James Steele says:
What do you mean?
Nik says:
you know, Dana's aunts site
James Steele says:
Yes, but what do you mean, if I 'know' anything about it?
Nik says:
can you tell me 'what' you know about it? not just in terms of what it looks like, but what you know about it not very many do...
James Steele says:
Well, what specific topic do you mean?
Nik says:
like have you found anything interesting about the code... or the pictures
Nik says:
and the AI
James Steele says:
Well, the pictures all contain hidden text.
James Steele says:
And the code, I've posted a summary of.
Nik says:
ok
Nik says:
what do you know of the AI
James Steele says:
It's clearly not fully in control of its actions.
Nik says:
can you send me the findings that you have of the hidden text in the images?
Nik says:
I'd like to look at it
James Steele says:
I haven't done any, yet.
James Steele says:
I'm sorry.
Nik says:
oh
Nik says:
can you send me your findings when you do?
James Steele says:
I'll post them on the blog.
Nik says:
ok
Nik says:
great
Nik says:
so are you saying when the next countdown gets to 0 then it will spread all over the internet?
Nik says:
hello?
James Steele says:
I'm sorry, I had to do something.
James Steele says:
And, yes, I am guessing this.
Nik says:
ok
Nik says:
and one final question...
Nik says:
did you know a bunch of people found this messed up site through a game trailer?
Nik says:
for a game called HALO2?
Nik says:
I have proof too, if you don't believe me
James Steele says:
I don't.
Nik says:
want proof?
Nik says:
it was shown at theatres too!
Nik says:
just quickly check this out
Nik says:
http://www.xbox.com/en-us/halo2/default.htm?level1=enushome&a mp;level2=fg5b lurb&level3=halo2
Nik says:
watch the trailer
Nik says:
and look at the end when it says www.xbox.com at the end
Nik says:
it will flash to www.ilovebees.com and back to xbox.com again quickly
Nik says:
thats how a bunch of us found ilovebees
Nik says:
and we think it is somehow connected to the developers of the game
James Steele says:
I doubt it strongly.
Nik says:
well did you even check?
Nik says:
at least check
Nik says:
then you can doubt it after checking
Nik says:
at least be rational
Nik says:
in seeing it
Nik says:
you dont even have to watch the actual trailer
Nik says:
just the end part
James Steele says:
I've seen it already
James Steele says:
It was probably slipped in there by a random person.
Nik says:
it was shown in THEATRES like that
Nik says:
and checked 7 times by employees that it wasnt messed up
Nik says:
and the AI seems to know alot of HALO terminology
Nik says:
it talks about slipstream
Nik says:
that is a way of travel in the books based on the game
Nik says:
it talks about seraph fighters
Nik says:
which are the covenants main space attack vehicle things in the game
James Steele says:
So maybe the writer of the program likes whatever game that is.
Nik says:
everything connects
Nik says:
then why is it talking about it half the time?
Nik says:
ONI is some kind of organization in the game
Nik says:
the trailer links to the site
Nik says:
the site links to the game
Nik says:
why?
James Steele says:
The trailer can be modified
James Steele says:
And the site can as well.
Nik says:
even if the programmer of the AI liked the game, why would he talk about it?
James Steele says:
No company would risk themselves in a way like this over a bee site.
Nik says:
then why haven't they come out and say "we have nothing to do with this!"
Nik says:
they have not said anything about how it was not related
Nik says:
and they do not cancel the topics relating to this at thier site
Nik says:
because they're the ones doing this
Nik says:
and anyways
James Steele says:
If they came out and said that
James Steele says:
People would accuse them of it even more
Nik says:
so they just keep quite about it?
Nik says:
i think you work at bungie
Nik says:
you keep trying to lead me from believing bungie did this
Nik says:
they would tell us if this wasnt thier doing
Nik says:
they've done something like this before anyway, with something called the "cortana letters"
Nik says:
the site is for hype for the fans
Nik says:
and when i post this conversation on the bungie forums, and all the other forums, then they will agree that you probably work for bungie and are just trying to cover everything up by telling me this stuff
James Steele says:
Wait a moment.
James Steele says:
I'm a professor.
James Steele says:
Where would I find the time to also work at a game company?
Nik says:
well you probably are helping bungie
Nik says:
not working there
James Steele says:
I've never met a bungie employee in my life. Email them about it, if you want.
Nik says:
they pay you to act like this is a real problem and nothing is related to them
James Steele says:
Hah. Doubtful.
James Steele says:
I'd only wish.
Nik says:
ok. good day. keep us updated on the blog....
James Steele says:
I will.
