Better RCON support for admins, like the ablilty to admin without having to be in the game.Vote system (for kicking and changing maps). Work good in other games.Change the game to client-side (big reach) and and Punk Buster or some other anit-cheat (this is the best way to fix the netcode).Vehicle warp fix!Don't care about fast-shaders, i've got a good rig and it won't help network lag.Impoved chat box1 or 2 new public maps (release with HEK) much like they do with each patch for Call of Duty.Better support for competitive matches, like auto-swithing sides at half and a ready-up function(although with the HEK the community should be able to make a mod for this).-MoneyMan[Edited on 4/28/2004 3:08:30 PM]
Are you talking about the legend of the hek?Remember : The hek is like the tooth fairy, santa claus, good russian cars.......it does not exist....
Actually, I know it exists, either in the community itself, or in Gearbox HQ, Halo Editting Kit is somwhere in ourselves, and somewhere in Gearbox testing.
HEK is not real. Just give up about it. And Gearbox has basically quit work on Halo PC.
I expect nothing more than what GearBox has already promised us. :Phttp://www.gearboxsoftware.com/HaloPCEditingFAQ.htmhttp://www.gearboxsoftware.com/images/sapien.jpg
it has so got to be a banning tool on no f=dedicated servers the amount of tk twats out there is -blam!- annoying!
Working map changes in multiplayer - I sent this problem to MS and have got to the point where they suggest formatting![Edited on 4/29/2004 7:42:12 AM]
Fully functional lobbies where people select teams prior to a match. (Particularly important in CTF) No team switching whatsoever. For there will be no need with the lobby system. They need to use more of the aspects that were so much fun in Halo Xbox (Lobbies NO team changes). Get back to your roots.http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=35419[Edited on 4/30/2004 12:23:47 AM]
I'm expecting all these features and more, but not immediately. GB has got a lot of stuff in the first release to begin with, and they're going to be the ones supporting HaloCE - so they won't have to wait to put out a patch.
