If you're interested, I did develop a list of what I believe are the only undisputed facts thus far about Halo 2 and there are links and citings for most of the information here. With so much misinformation and speculation out there, I thought it would be novel to create a page for another board I attend just to set the record straight. You may not agree with everything on the page, but the vast majority of information has been completely confirmed by Bungie or its press contacts, and some of it is based on information we have acquired through Bungie's screens, renders and videos. Also, I decided not to include any obvious graphical or programming information, but only information that pertains to the physical story and characters of Halo 2.

* "Dual-Wielding" (players will be able to hold more than one, single-handed gun at a time)
* "Vehicle Takeover" (players will be able to hi-jack certain vehicles while they are in-use by another player, and steal the vehicle)
* Sprinting/Zooming (players will be able to increase in running/driving/flying speed by holding down a specific button, which now also works with certain vehicles as well)
* Peeking (players will be able to peek around corners without being seen by AI)
* Interactive Environments (players will be able to interact with the environments, such as moving structures for cover or eliminating light sources)
* "Gaze Tracking" (player's heads will now focus on certain objects and other players around them and independent of their body)
* Melee Combos (players will be able to construct a variety of strictly melee attacks with weapons)
* Multiplayer on Live will include at least 16 people
* Multiplayer game types will consist of the previous game types (Slayer, Team Slayer, Capture The Flag, King Of The Hill, Oddball) and a new game type called "Assault" (the player's team must either carry a bomb into the opposing team's base, or defend it from the same threat)
* Multiplayer will have four teams (Red, Blue, Green, Gold)
* Multiplayer will allow you to play as not only Spartans, but also Elite Covenant warriors (rumor has it that other characters like Brutes will also be playable)
