Um, sorry, but that's called a frag grenade. I know because the soldier screams : Frag in!

Also, Bungie said that grenades will stun even if they don't hurt you.

Like I said a sec ago, if the none of the fragments from the nade hit the enemy, the explosion, bright light, noise, and smoke, will stun them for a few secs. But only if they are close to the grenade when it explodes.

This is a pretty old topic talked about about a month ago but anyway. I think the "frag" is some kind of stun grenade...i dont know mabye theres a button you hit and it turns on some kind of stun type thing...or a lethal type thing

If you look on the ground there's blood by the elites feet after he throws a "flash bang" (frag) in the room and steps aside so you can see the explosion. This topic has been discussed already.

SB-117

Basically, the covenant that are quite far from the explosion will not recieve enough shards to kill them but they will get some splash leftover that stuns them. The noise and flash isn't going to be good for them either.

The stun effect would have no effect in MP, Spartans are immune to it. Their armor would not let the pressure wave through and their visors would darken.

It didn't kill them because they were out of the fragmentation area. Tell me, if someone threw a grenade, would you see a flash? Yes. If you were close enough, you'd see a white flash (or another color, I suppose. It depends on the materials used to make the grenade) and perhaps not be killed, but you'd be blinded for a few seconds. I believe this is called 'eye flash.' The same thing happens if you try to weld without a welding mask. Your pupils become smaller as light becomes greater, so you don't let in as much light. If it's dark, your pupils are big. This is to let more light in. If you were to let too much light in while your pupils were big, it would burn your retina, causing temporary blindness.

I seriously doubt the existence of Flash Bangs in Halo 2.

Also, try typing a bit more legible so people can understand your post. You don't have to type perfectly, but at least make some kind of effort.
