I see no reason why people should be allowed to mod Halo PC. Modding is illegal. They should to the same thing with halo 1 as they do with halo 2.

Modding a console is a lot different to modding a PC game. As long as what you do doesn't violate the EULA then it's fine.

Yeah, some games are practically like made to mod as long as you're not cheating. Often the developers of the game will even release modding tools you use so people can make their own maps and completely change the gameplay on their servers (just look at Halo Custom Edition). As a matter of fact, cheats like super-auto-aim don't even work on Halo PC/CE because it doesn't sync online (wait, does this mean there is absolutely no auto-aim in HPC MP?). So, don't worry about it.

Look modding is fine on PC because its your server. There are no stats so who cares? You are not modifing the hard ware.

but what i am sayin is that people are cheating on the PC version so that they always win and make it no fun for other players, and bungie should do something about it.

You can't stop cheaters - it's impossible. All you can do is patch the holes that cheaters exploit. Which is what Gearbox should be doing.
