I've been victim to more modded games today than the last week of Live. This autoupdate did NOTHING, as far as I can tell... unless it's a delayed-reaction patch? Maybe you grabbed the plastic kids' gavel instead of the banhammer...

what happens after you downloaqd the update and then add a custom game from AR to your hard-drive? what would happen after the auto-update has been installed?

Does Bungie or any of you consider finding glitches as cheeting?

i got action replay to delete warlock, turf, containment, and sanctuary from my xbox hard drive because i was sick of getting modded so then this morning i redownloaded the maps and deleted all my AR gametypes and got on and the update hadnt come out so i played some customs and then i finally got the update and guess what i go into slayer and get modded almost every game i play and lose 3 levels because of it it took like 2 hours just to get those back. and then the kid has the nerve to talk crap at the end even thought i killed him 6 times cuz he is the worst modder ever. so if anyone has any ieda if it would be alright to remove those 4 maps reply.

So why exactly can you still get into the turret after it's been blown up?

i dont think the turret thing is a big deal because you can kill them easier and i dont know many people hwo are -blam!- enough to use the turret.

One of the first games I played today after I downloaded the Autopdate I got modded on Battle Creek. The weird thing is that was only my second or third time I can recall being cheated against in all my time playing Halo 2 online and it was after I downloaded the autoupdate. I am pretty sure the modder's gamertag was Bob H Lob.

you got modded on beaver creek? didnt know you could do that. and no action replay just allows you to get into your xbox to copy the maps and change the encryption which changes the weapons, etc... but i used it to delete the moddible maps so i didnt get modded so i redownloaded them thinking it would be safe but apparently i was wrong.

Will we still be able to host system link games with people who only have the Map Pack Disc and not this update? Please answer quickly - I have a LAN Party this Saturday.

Could somebody PLEASE answer this question, or at least PM me about it because I didn't feel like looking through all 32 pages for an answer.

Thats great, but I keep getting disconnected off of Xbox live, and it isnt my internet provider, any reasons why?

i am REALLY happy that there is no more modding! but i am not happy that everything from action replay is considered "modified content". so if i make a game varient from the settings menu in halo 2 and someone downloades it from codejunkies.com they get banned. that is just plain stupidity.

ps
i guess i have to change my witty comment....

Trying is the first step towards failure

what about those guys who leave their xbox on so they dont have to DL the autoupdate, i personally have not experianced these guys myself, however my freind said it happened to him

though he isnt as reliable as most people i was wondering if anyone knows about this?

I doubt you even mod, you're just trying to be a pansy. And if you are a modder, I hope you get thrown into a funeral pyre somewhere so you can burn like the stupid -blam!- you are. Anyways, wow, you have multiple accounts just so you can mod and pay MORE money for Xbox Live?? Wow, some of these modders give me the impression that they live in a closet somewhere.. get outside and breathe in the fresh air.

I don't understand why you guys are banning people with action replay. I have action replay, I just recently deleted it for fear of getting banned. A lot of people with action replay don't go to read the updates, and they are just going to all of a sudden get banned for an unknown reason, oh wait, that happens all the time. I guess what I'm trying to say is that all of those people that film and do all of those movies will now have to do it with the oddball glitch. You'll mostly hear complaining from everyone at www.highimpacthalo.org. I don't think you should get banned for using a product you bought from a store.

I'm glad that Bungie listened to the fans: I'm glad they're taking action. A few days ago I encountered a Big Team Battle game where the other team had seemingly formed a party of modders to win every game. They were litterarily flying and going super-fast. Me and my brother reported them and I think he sent an e-mail. I hope that, soon enough, thanks to all the effort Bungie has put into doing it, hackers will be gone... for good.
