that'd be kickass. But it would only work well if in Both stories the Covenant and Humans team up against a common foe.
It'd be cool if you got to choose what covvie to be.

It would be pretty awesome. The common enemy thing willl never happen, since the Covenant view humanity as an offense to the "Gods". I know the new LOTR game will let you play every battle from the enemy's perspective, but it won't affect the storyline, so the bad guys always lose.

I think a Covenant campaign would have to be played from the perspective of a high ranking Elite unit whose assignment is to destroy Master Chief. You would fight your way through the opposite direction of MC through the levels. Every time you meet up with MC, you would lose, and another member of the unit would take his place. That would be pretty sweet, except for the always losing part.
