so yeah you only have to download xbc (xbox connect) its legal and it makes your xbox to turn lan to online but u need to have online on ur xbox ( maybe)

um halo 1 came out before internet for the original xbox came about. therefore they didn't put in ONLINE multiplayer cause there was no use for it

Partially right, but mostly wrong.

If you even bothered to read his post at all, you would noticed that he mentioned something called Xbox Connect (XBC for short.)

And therefore, before you posted on a topic you were completely ignorant about, you should have done some research.

XBC is a tunneling service that makes your xbox think its connected to a LAN network. Or connected to other xboxs. Using XBC it is possible to play H1 with someone also using XBC over the internet.

So yes Bungie didnt add online multiplayer, but it IS possible.
