This is a reply I made to someone's post in New Mombasa. After I was reading though it I thoungh to myself... "self, wouldn't this be an great topic to be discussed as a subject in The Flood form?" To which I replied "Why yes, I think this would be an excellent topic to discuss in The Flood forum!"
So, without further ado, here it is. The reply; the subject; I quote myself. Do read on...
"Microsoft owns Bungie and Bungie must does what Microsoft tells them to do. But how well Bungie makes the game is up them. Microsoft would have forced Bungie to finally come up with a release date for Halo 2 (even though they were giving Bungie all time they needed... eventually they would have to force them after so long), and for all we know, Microsoft probably did force them to make a release date, AND Microsoft probably picked the release for them or, perhaps, worked out the release with Bungie.
Oh yes, did I mention that Microsoft is greedy and a bit evil as well (and, well, I'm evil too... but not nasty evil like Microsoft). So anyway, I used to not really think so bad about Microsoft UNTIL they ditched the developers who are behind the Oddworld series (perhaps you've heard?). So yeah, Micro$oft didn't make all the money that they wanted so they cut the string on them and some other guys like, say for instance Blinx and other platformers. Trust me.
"So anywho, Stranger, by Oddworld Inhabitants, was originally going to be an Xbox only title UNTIL... well... you know. But Microsoft did at least say that they did want Stranger on their $y$tem and would at least help them to find another publihser. So the creative developers at Oddworld Inhabitants went searching and finally found one true hero, like abe. Their name? Electronic Arts! An unlikely publisher... just like Abe was an unlikely hero. And like Abe, I still have a scar from what Microsoft did . Thanks a lot Micro$ft!"
So, do you think Microsoft is evil?... Well, I think so. And I think even Bungie could agree. Don't you agree?...
cheers,
Twisted Chains
