could you tell us whats in the aurora 5500? I think aurora's are AMD based which is awsome....also could you tell us what kind of monitor you are looking for?
Well, alienware makes a good product, but it is disgustingly overpriced.However, if you're not very familar with computers, and have no idea where to begin building one, alienware is a sure bet.

i admit, dells are not the best gaming pc's. They are pretty good for other tasks, and seem to have better technology in their systems compared to the other major vendors (Gateway, Sony, Hewlett Packard).
