While it would be cool to see, I wouldn't buy it, because I already used Boot Camp to install Windows vista so I could get Halo 2. And since its a Games for Windows game I find a mac release very unlikely.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Just install boot camp. There, you have Halo 2 Mac.

I would do what you two said but I can't run boot camp. I hope I will be able to soon.

This would be good but unlikely.

You have 2 options:

1. Use boot camp to install Windows
2. Download Crossover games and run H2 with that.

With the crossover one though you will get lag and you do need to download some extra stuff for crossover before H2 will work.

EDIT: If you do attempt to run Halo 2 Vista on mac get version 8.0.0, NOT THE LATEST VERSION (8.1.3). ONLY VERSION 8.0.0 works.

Boot camps the better option. Because its free, and you can get better FPS.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

H2V works with Crossover? I tried to run it on latest dev version of Wine, and it failed.

If you go to this website http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id= 3076 and scroll down the bottom you will see a box labeled "Advocates". In the box it shows what versions of crossover worked and which didn't. Version 8.0.0 got a "Silver" rating meaning it works but not as well as it could.

I wish I could afford a Crossover Games license. Would be nice to see H2V working on a non-Microsoft platform... hell, maybe that would fix the issues I've been having with it.

Yeah, linux is a good OS. I used to use Kubuntu, it ran lots of software with Wine such as Steam.
