like many, i've had a lot of fun following the whole "ilovebees" thing. i know it's a marketing thing. that doesn't bother me. it's pretty cool.

but is there really anything to solve? are there clues laid out that someone brilliant and determined could put together and find a big Halo 2 revelation, or am I just supposed to look at this, dig around in the source code, see how somethngs in there are neat and be satisfied with that? is there more to this than just a complicated announcement that something H2 related is going to go down on Aug 24?

i mean, let's be honest, the cortana letters were kind of cool, but knowing about them didn't make Halo: CE better. and it doesn't seem to me anyone is going to post anything which results in Dana calling them and saying, "Hey, you figured it out. Good job. Here's a dollar."

You're exactly right. I believe there is aboslutely no "solution" to this puzzle other than a good, simple but intriguing explanation to all the texts we can and will find.

Some past puzzles, such as the glyph's puzzle, actually lead to a URL. Not only was finding the URL part of the puzzle, but figuring out the login name and the passwordo proved the other two parts! Slight dissapointment might've followed however, because all that was unleased was a "crypt" of old marathon outtakes and info, including a paper with a list of Bob quotes (some used, some not used) and other interesting bits.

But this puzzle, like the Cortana letters, I believe, is simply giving us background info. But let's be honest, it'd suck if they simply said "There's a pissed off AI called Melissa, Kowalski is hitting on Navy Chicks, And troy is gonna get nuked and Capt Greene has got her family on it." And as good as books are for story splurges, its just so much more interesting when the story is delivered story style. And of course, noone doubts the awesome hype it creates!
