When things get completely FUBAR in here, how long does it take to get under your skin, and what's your best way to get rid of the moron-induced stress? I'm asking because the Underground seems really ate up with Halo stuff lately, since people can't read the words THIS IS NOT A HALO FORUM, Zanzibar's lost what little sanity it had left over the AU, and New Mombassa's.....well......New Mombassa.

Oh, and if you feel this is too far off topic and choose to banish me to the flood, I'll understand. I was just curious.

When things get fubar around here, I go do other things that don't involve Bungie.net. That's how I'm still sane. I tried fighting back some of the moronic posts that were flooding in today, but in less than an hour, all my work was completely voided. digg.com is a good site to browse around when bored... >_>

Wow, I'm in the septagon???? I thought for sure I'd wind up flood-bait. Thanks for the response.

Recon, I can relate. You know I'm a member of the bastard children of Zanzibar, that lovely group that shall remain nameless, but I am selective. If I am going to troll someone, they have to really earn it, being I'm skirting the boundaries in doing so. To judge whether or not it's worth it, I read them aloud a few times. When doing so, I almost always find myself applying an accent of some kind, different ones for different situations, to them.

A follow up if you'll allow; when you get to that point where you have to go look at a web site NOT bungie, just to clear the tension, what's your favorite place to surf to?

I know Maka enjoys wimp.com, he's always creating topics about something he found there.

It's in one of those unpredictable hiatus periods, but As the Apple Turns is usually the first place I go when I fire up Safari. From the Mac geek's perspective, that's the best site on the internet.

Other than that, the only regular sites I visit are HBO, here (duh), the Marathon Story Page forum, and I'm starting to become addicted to the Mariusnet forum. I've lurked there for some time now, but in the past few weeks I've begun to actually post.

If I'm really bored I might re-read half of the Inside Bungie section here. Or, I might go do something else! You know, not the internet, or computers, or anything.

Ah, who am I kidding? I live here.

That's how I'm still sane.

That's funny, I was under the impression that all the mods here were insane. I mean, moderating the Bungie.net forums? That could drive even the toughest man up the wall.

yoo•zel- ('yoo-zhul): slang: vb.

Officium quod Fidelitas.

I’m with Chris, I just do something different, I’ll get up and walk away from my computer for a bit. There’s only so many death threats I can take a day and only so many times I can clean my website’s guestbook up before I really start doing illegal things to peoples' computers.

Well, I've nominated Recon for sainthood twice, and well, the bastard children have nominated Yoozel about 400 times over this last week.........

MakaVeli4LIfe1 is one I worry about the sanity of, as I watch him rearrange the furniture in the flood, which is like beating your head into a wall for five hours.........

4Base Avalanch MELTDOWN
battle is only a prayer.....
.......Better Start PRAYING!!!!!!!
Chapter Founders Bungie's Group Support
Mob of Angry Peasants

Heck I have been going to some other forums that better represent my hobies such as paintball or the new hobbie I am getting in today Warhammer40,000 and Battle Fleet Gothic.

No place to play paintball, and only dial up so I can't play HAL0 2 (Not to mentioned the serious gammer of the det hate HAL0 2 but loves HAL0) Also the game of Warhammer40,000 takes more of a patient and mature crowd because the skill and care needed for assembling and painting models.

Though I like Bungie and bungie.net ans halo.bungie.org are still my favorite websites well the world is bigger than HAL0. (Don't worry Bungie will make another cool series to conquer more of the world)
