Ok....for some time now people on this forum may have noticed the way i complain at myself being crap.

as ive said before i was once a good sniper but for some reason i lost it, and i have a feeling its something to do with my sensitivity, so im going to ask all you other snipers out there what your sensitivity is and maybe i that will help me find the problem.

at the moment my sensitivity is 4...whats yours?

i put my look sensitvity at 7 i find it comfortable for both up close and sniping but more so for sniping. if you put up you look sensitivity you will find that your charecter lags behind as if you spin round real fast and shoot a rocket more often than not you will find you shoot the rocket in a different direction from where you are looking and same with all weapons nut its more annoying with a rocket launcher as if you are close to a wall say on prisoner and you jump off the rocket launcher stand and are in mid air and have spun around and are aiming for someone on the floor, you will explode if you are in anyways fast when turning round. this makes sense i guess as it would be unfair if the actual turning speed of the character was increased as well as how fast you could look round. i like the look sensitivity tho i would take it out of halo 2 if i was makin in, which thankfully for all you people im not.

My sensitivity is also four. I can snipe perfectly with it, and i do not know why my friends use a sensitivity of ten, it's so buggy.

4 is the sensitivity level of all proffesional snipers!

ok, up until recently i was using 8, so i could turn around quickly. however, when i was forced to use the default 3 in a game, i found that i could snipe much better. in fact, half of my sniper kills were headshots, and i never missed a shot (about 3 out of 4 kills were with the sniper, rest were with pistol/nades). i suppose you have to find what works for you, but usually lower sensitivity's work for snipers, while higher ones work for close range.

sorta on topic, i find that using 2x zoom rather than 10x helps me get headshots better, but that's either just me, the range they're at, or somethin.

I use 8 because if you can be precise at that sensitivty you can kill two people in twice the time as killing one on default settings.

Im all about the level ten, i like it alot. It's just a bit fast though, i mean not for me, but for the game. As someone mentioned before there's the problrm with turning to quick. For sniping its not a problem though. My advice/tip: Play through a sp level on 10 or 8, then just when your used to it, switch it down 2. That's what ima do for halo2, just to increasese my chances of the frag.

six gota go with six slow enough to aim directly for your oponents eye and fast enough for close quarters combat
