I read a long long time ago that bungie was possibly working on a new type of game. it was called and episodic game as in the levels would unfold like a TV show. They release the game with maybe 1 or 2 levels then they release one more every week like a TV show. that way you are kept in suspense. (you supposedly download the episodes through LIVE). Would it be cool if Halo 2's campaign was unfolded like that? you would have all the time to play to play Halo 2 Online in between the wait and you wouldnt have to worry about some hardcore gamer completing it in 1 day and spoiling it for you while you are playing. Please explain why you would like or dislike this idea.

Wow I love this idea. It would be so great. Unfortunately though, not enough people have Live, so you would need another way of distrubuting it. Maybe Bungie could sell a disc for like £1 each for every episode at supermarkets or something like that, and it would save the levels onto your xbox.

yeah, what about people who arent abl even to get Live, i think it wood be really unfair if they did that, although if EVERYONE had Live, i mean like impossible NOT to ave it, then it wood be a kool idea

No even the mailing it to everyone who bought the game etc, or buying it in a shop etc is just stupid. I'm not paying 64 euro for a game with two levels, and then have to go and buy more levels. This is really dumb. One of the worst Ideas ever?!!

no i think that idea would suck. having to wait for each level, even after you beat the one before it? it would be cool for a game that isn't halo 2, because you really need to play it continously to really appreciate it.

Worst. Idea. Ever. (OXM are really stupid)

It would be bad for the consumer and the manufacturer.
