Who is more foolish, the child afraid of the dark or the man afraid of the light?

I completely disagree, Firefight never gets old. I guess the Halo 3 multiplayer disc also helped my opinion of the game although it isn't directly ODST.

I actualy prefer ODST over all the other halo games except the halo 3 bonus multiplayer disc. Do you know how fun the streets are when you get a vehicle?

ODST was a fine addition to the Halo universe, as are all of the Halo games and books.

Edit - I even thought Halo Legends was pretty kick ass.

To play or not to play....

So a question to the OP?

Does anyone actually agree with you?

Personally I think ODST rocks. It was great value considering all things. The game rocked, the soundtracked is awesome so what is there not to like? Good gameplay, fun story, nteresting addition to the Haloverse. Again I ask what is there not to like?

and... how hilarious it can be to run over the Covenant as they try fruitlessly to shoot you. LOL hours of fun to be had. Try getting a vehical and running the enemies over instead of shooting them. Can be funny to watch an angry Brute running around avoiding you.

We Surround Them!

Anyone who thinks it is a let down just doesn't have enough friends who play it. Personally I am tired of all the whiners complaining about Halo 3: ODST. It was a GREAT game and the only thing lacking about it for most is the fact you can't do matchmaking in Firefight. If you really want to do Firefight so much then get friends or else just do it solo! All but one of the map achievements I did in solo efforts (Security Zone was my only map I have never tried solo).

I still replay the campaign from time to time for the fun of it. The story is superior to any of the other Halo games because of the characters and the variety of them. After a while the "mysterious Master Chief" just grows tiring. The group that Bungie assembled for ODST was awesome and if there ever was an ODST 2 I'd put down my $60 in advance for it!

The single player campaign IS fun BUT dose get very boring after awhile in my opinion.

Honestly the day time missions feel like good old halo, you know all action y. as for the night time missions, they have a nice sneaky feel to it but then get very impatient after a couple of patrols with engineers >.> and having to spend a good amount of time walking to my destination....well until i find me a mongoose.

as for the multi player, i agree, fire fight is very fun. But having a bunch of freinds who DONT play ODST kinda makes firefight not being online kinda annoying in my part.

The soundtrack is still pretty awesome, very chill, and smooth, and action y when it needs too.

In my opinion ODST was not worth the $60 but i guess the multilayer disk kinda makes up for it. as for me i was on of those guys who reserved the super boner addition, yay new controller ^^

Empty signatures are for losers.

When the best part of the game is considered to be the soundtrack, you know you have a bit of a let down.

BrAdLeY

I resent that!.

ODST is insane. Firefight alone has granted me 50+ hours of gameplay. I've played the campaign through a good few times and its still got lots of secrets im yet to find.

However if you played the solo to death and got no friends for fire fight i suppose it would only be an OK game.

Please DONT bother me with group invites. I play halo for my entertainment and have absolutely no interest in joining any group no matter what.

Well if you think about it. You would be bored as hell without ODST.

They were not going to give us Halo 3 then make us wait nearly 4 years for Halo: Reach. Halo 3: ODST was just to entertain us for a little bit.

I have no complaints. The campaign was cool. The audiophiles tell an interesting side story. Firefight is pretty cool. Not to mention ODST comes with access to the Reach multiplayer beta! Once the beta comes out, lots of people will be dusting off the ODST disk and getting lots of use out of it.

It's a little hard to navigate a goose at full speed. I couldn't tell you how many times I've tried to splatter a Hunter just for the fun of it. It's impossible!

The audio files really are adding to the Campaign experience. I played the whole campaign hunting for audiophiles, then once without any of them, and am in the process of replaying it on another account from scratch, picking them up as I go.

The audio files really add another dimension to the story as it unfolds. The attention to detail, metaphors (what with the parallels with Dante's Divine Comedy and all) and subtle ways in which it interacts with the Rookie's main story arc make them a very welcome addition to it all.

-looks at Halo 3 then Halo 3: ODST- OMGF!! BBQ! They're the same game! So ... How was it supposed to entertain us again? ODST is just Halo 3 with one more game type.

to be honest, i LOVED IT! the campaign is mad, really good fun on a saturday night! firefight is the sh*#t!! always great fun any day, the price was abit over the top,it isn't a proper halo3 adition, but OMG i'd still pay the full price for it :) all in all, the game is amazing and i DISAGEE COMPLETELY :P i'm playin FF now actually XD
