My favorite part of H2 was how they implemented two different viewpoints (Arbiter)

H1, the whole damn thing. Mostly the origionality of it.

EDIT- And hell yes I agree that the vehicle psysics were much better in H1, minus getting kicked from the vehicle the second it flips.

ps, arent you on the wrong forum?

I loved the part in halo 2 where they showed the covenant point of view

Most of Halo 1 I liked, and this needs to be in the Library or the Maw

"H1, the whole damn thing." If you're gonna -blam!- about my comment, I'm gonna -blam!- about the fact that you're on the wrong forum.

I just merely pointed out good aspects of both. I apologize, but I did put my two cents in about vehicle physics, i edited my post :)

The best level by far was the second snow one (where you have to disable the pulse thingies (can't remember the name, two betrayals or something). ANyway, the part where there are two wraiths and all the flood and covenant blocking the two banshees is amazing. Me and my friends still get togehter and just play that level on legendary.

2 betreaysl??? On legendary? Wow l just went back and beat that level ,like last month. That level was near impossible.I still haven't beat the entire game of Halo1 on legendary. I still have to beat truth and reconciliation. I can't beat the part in the big room where everyone attacks your from the top AND comes out from all the doors on the bottom. At least l beat Halo2 on legendary.

And the final run on the maw on legendary was the most fun part of Halo1
And the scarab battle in Halo2 was extremely fun to me lol.

The thing I loved about halo one that wasn't in halo2's campaign was the replay fun factor halo1 had. I could play all of those levels (not counting the library) millions of times and not get sick of them. Halo2 was fun, but didn't bring me back to play it over and over again...

Just to start off dont be an a hole and say shut up halo 2 is teh roxxors!!, or anything along that line, and this is not a halo 2 bash either.

My favorite part was the wide massive open levels that were lighted very well and you could see enimies easyily, or the pleasure of popping grunts in the head with the pistol. I also loved the level variants while in halo 2 they made memorable spots they didnt really make different levels. In halo 1 you went from a space ship to a beach to snow to a swapmy alien level then a alien space ship. In halo 2 its space ship ground level jungl type setting to a weird snowy level over and over then back to a jungle type setting. To leave off on a higher note I think we can all say we love the wart hog physics in halo 1 more that halo 2.

Just to remind you dont be a jack ass and say shut up halo 2 is way better.

Flood vs Covie war on Two betrayals.....and shooting a few random rockets into that war

To XXJackalSniperXX
For T&R, dont drop your sniper rifle untill after you get Keyes. You will find ammo for it in the ship

The entire game is awesome. However, one of the best parts of the campaign is at the bottom of the gravity lift on Truth and Reconciliation where i get a glitch that makes Cortana call for more reenforcements even though i don't need them, so i am left with about 10 marines shooting all of the covenant that come down the gravity lift. Truth and Reconciliation is a great level in a great game.

i would have to say the end of the maw when your driving the worthog, explosions all around you i would have to say that is by far the most imersing moment, or the beginning of Silent C. It gave you the feeling of a halo d-day invasion

assuslt on the control room was the sickest level ever. mostly because it was so LONG. on legendary it usually takes me about an hour to beat. also it has both big open spaces and confined rooms to battle in. it has very diverse combat zones. that level is awesome to try and go through using only melee attacks, no weapons or vehicles whatsoever. even pretty challenging on easy once you're getting fired at by a wraith, banshees, hunters, three ghosts, shades, and infantry all at the same time while running across an open snowfield with little or no cover.

two betrayals is my second favorite (probably because its my favorite level backwards)

heehee...tuba trails...hehe...

Same here man, I loved that it was like so awosme the way how you would take cover, then pop out and hit some little grunts in the head as they blindly ran by you...THEN BAM you came face to face with an elite and you pop out your AR and unload a whole clip into him then smack him in the face just to make sure he was dead...awwww good time, good times...

BEST HALO 1 PARTS (not in any order)
1. Sniping enemies on Truth and Reconcilliation.
2. Playing the beach landing on Silent Cartographer (on Legendary) again and again.
3. Driving the Warthog to the end of the Maw.
4. Getting the pants scared off of you when you first encounter the flood.
5. Finally finishing the Library.
6. Jumping Warthogs (and Ghosts) off of Scorpion Tanks.
7. Piling vehicles on top of the Blood Gulch base.
8. The satisfying (and spinny) death animation for a sniping headshot in MP.
9. Sniping an enemy out of a Scorpion tank (with one shot).
10. Seeing SGT. Johnson and a white Elite HUG as Halo is destroyed around them.

Leading that group of marines to the gravity lift under the Truth & Reconciliation (music was awesome!)

Going into rooms or areas and seeing the Covenant fighting for their lives against the Flood and you realize that you're going to have to get past them BOTH (Two Betrayals, also had good music in Final Run and when you first got into the Banshee when you left the control center)

The Maw of course.

343 Guilty Spark. Finding the Flood was a freaky moment for all of us I think. Especially once you find out they know how to use guns on you.
