If there were demos, I think it would mess up Halo 2 for me and alot of other people:
Anyways, all in all, I have seen all the evidence for a demo, and it adds up, but it doesnt seem very "Bungie-ish."
So here are my reasons why a demo would suck my balls:
SINGLE PLAYER DEMO:
If it is a single player demo, DOY, we will lose the story and if it takes place on a later level it will give the story away. Even if it is the first level, we wont be getting to good experience we could get if we just wait until the REAL release date on November 9th (assuming that that is the date, even though it MAY possibly be August 24th).
MULTIPLAYER DEMO:
If there is a multiplayer demo, it will sell like hotcakes and not everyone will get it of course, worse yet, this demo will be being played all two months NON FREAKING STOP until November 9th, so by then everyone will be freaking awesome and others wont be able to match up to their skill, which in my opinion, will suck. The cool thing about the release of Halo 2 is that everyone will go into it with the same level of understanding on things such as the (maps, new weapons, and tactics) so we will all have fun discovering things together, whereas if there is a demo, people will go in trying to discover and enjoy their first Halo 2 experience, while crazy losers that sit in their basements all day playing videogames will just come over and spawn camp or do something stupid like that.
That is why I feel like i want to just wait for the game, although it would be damn awsome if it came out a little sooner than freaking November 9th.
I mean why the hell is it taking so goddam long!
