Kay, so, why does everything look like it's rendered using Unreal Engine 3? Why does the art style resemble games like Unreal Championship or Mass Effect? Seriously. This is horrible.
The AR looks awful. Like some sort of weapon made from welded pipes. Like the Flamethrower/Rifle combo in Aliens. You changed the classic design completely.
The Grunt looks like some sort of standard Sci-Fi shooter cliche enemy. Glowing. Curvy. The Elite looks like the Halo Wars one but more Space Pirate from Metroid Prime like. The Warthog has more worthless stuff sticking out of it. And the Marines look like they were stolen from Modern Warfare, Army of Two, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, etc. Bungie really has run out of ideas, haven't you?
I haven't been this unimpressed by a Halo game since Halo 2. You guys have destroyed the universe. Completely. Is that your plan? Is that Microsoft's plan? Now that Bungie isn't a Microsoft owned Company, you're just trying to ruin Halo so you get out of it? Is that it?
Unbelievable. Spartan III's. Armor Abilities. Skirmishers. Let me guess, Halsey is played by a professional sex movie star and she looks more of a tool than Professor Anders? Does she wear a lab coat or a bikini?
Mm. Selling out is awesome. Really. I really thought you were taking the right path of Halo 1 with Halo 3 and ODST. But Halo Legends and this just shoots that down completely.
Bungie had nothing to do with legends you stupid git.
Sounds to me like you're just trying to start something.
Go -blam!- on your own topic. The Reach forum is all whiners at this moment, you'll fit right in.
And off all revealed things to complain about, Spartan IIIs? WHAT? Seriously?
And they've already explained the purpose for the new art style man. It's a game that ends with your home planet dying and half the human population destroyed in an instant. Halo 1- 3 are stories of hope. The art reflects that.
Reach is a story of despair. The art reflects that.
