give the game some specs: weapons, vehicles, mode, climate, size (depending on number of players) etc....and let the game do a quick Random map generation based on the specs. No one knows the levels, so the competition is more pure, and replay value higher. Who's with me?

generally speaking, generators suck, especially for mulitplayer which ends up being unbalanced. I wouldn't mind it for some co-op action though.

More importantly, I'd like to see an intuitive map creator for use in game, and a full fledged tool set for use to build maps on PC and transfer to xbox live.

The only thing that was relatively fun in soldier of fortune 2 was the map generation for online. Although the games really, really sucked overall, i did play it for about 4 days because of that feature. Having it in halo 2 would eliminate people who use cheap tactics online, because (unless by a huge stroke of luck) they would not know where the cheap spots on a map were. Go random MAPS!!!!

Random map generators and make your own maps would make this m ore like a PC game instead of a console game. I think there has been a lot of console and PC people all talking about Halo for both formats, but it's completely different. Random generators for the PC guys but no thanks for the console guys.
