Subject: AI in ODST couldnt be any farther from Artificial Intelligence

By now Im guessing most of us if not all of us have completed the ODST campaign, which by the way I am a huge fan of. But as any good fan should, I am going to point what was epically wrong with the game...The AI, if you could even call it that, was brutal! Example would easily be in the level Coastal Highway when your making your way through the different schemes of the highway while protecting Dare and Virgil. Now if anyone has played through Legendary as many times as I have you will have surely noticed that Buck really does nothing. Rarely does he shoot the right Covenant at the right time or even aim the right way. In fact at one point Buck got off the turret and I had to drive, turret, drive, turret just to complete one part. Sorry Bungie, but for this aspect of the game, it seemed very rushed and not accounted for.

its all fun and games until someone gets hurt--Then its more fun and games!

AI has never been great. It was always annoying in all 3 halo games how bad the AI were in vehicles, so it's nothing new. I hoe they fix this for reach, because it would be a lot of fun to have COMPETANT AI, or at least ones that could drive decently.

Very true dude. Well hopefully Bungie pays attention to the complaints of the community this go around.

Remember Elk

The AI has never been great whit vehicles (in CE they couldn't even drive) but the grenade spam and ground combat is better than most other games i have played.
And the battles feel different often enuf, scripted games are just good for one maybe two playthroughs
