Halo 3 is better than Reach

Xbox Live: iSupremacyX
Xbox Connect: Cold_Achilles
XFire: redmeany
Steam: coldachilles

I'm sure you have heard it lots, but I think it's about time to add Halo PC to steam. It is now the year 2010, and its extremely difficult to find this game at stores. Without a way of purchasing the games, how will the community survive and sustain itself. The addition of the digital distribution of halo PC will raise the community of the game at least by a bit. Many of my friends do not have halo pc due to being unable to find the game, and they gladly said they would pick it up if it were some sort of digital distribution. This is where I think Steam would come in to extremely good use. Instead of letting the amazing campaign and online community die, we should try to revitalize it by allowing new players try the game through steam.

I think this could be said for both Halo PC and Halo 2 PC

I'm sure Microsoft would love that extra cash they could obtain by broadening their scope to the huge population of steam users.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

Not like it matters. Street Fighter IV also uses GfWL, and it can be found on Steam.

Do you think Micro$uck would allow their all precious Halo Franchise on their rival's distro service?

Micro$uck & Bungie refuse to acknowledge the existance of Halo 2 Vista.

I'd say if it were on steam, I'd hope they'd release source code for community development,
since steam is very good at supporting user created content.

Micro$uck don't care what we want, Steam does.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Hey gunmonkey, they do adknoldge it exists. MS has a product page for it and that stuff. And their support team knows it exists (but they dont care much)

Also, most companies dont release source code, just mod sdks and thats it. You cant get the source code for the source engine unless you are a game dev liscening it (there are better engines anyway)

Microsoft doesn't own Street Fighter... CAPCOM does.

Yea, that would be nice to gain the community from Steam. I bet at least one thousand more players would be online in H2V.

Yeah, h2v would sell more on steam or digital distro. I could see more people buying h2v if it was on steam or even GoD.

It was a rebuttal to Moif's insinuation about H2V not being available because it uses GfWL. I was pointing out that it's possible to have a game sell on Steam that still uses GfWL for multiplayer, as Street Fighter IV does.

Anyone coulda seen that. Well, anyone who knows anything about PC games, anyway. So I could see why you didn't.

Steam is retarded. I shouldn't have to be connected to the internet to play games that I paid for.

There's this thing that pops up when you're not connected to the internet. It says "Start in Offline Mode." Try it some time, it works wonders.

Not to mention it's not Steam's fault your computer isn't hooked up to broadband constantly like the rest of civilization. Don't go bashing Steam just 'cause you're Amish.

First off, I tried "Start in Offline Mode." It then proceeded to tell me that I needed to be connected to the internet. That is retarded.
Second off, It's not my -blam!- fault that there was a day when my ISP was down.

Steam has a habit of saying it has to update even when your in offline mode and won't let you play anything until you connect.

Worked fine for me when I had no interbutts. How odd. Getting it to work must've been user error.
