Last night, I was testing out that AOtCR glitch where one can Ghost-fling themselves through the doors to the Core. I used this glitch to figure out just how many hits from what weapons would be required to kill witch caracters.

I hope that this can come in usefull for someone.

Read the list as follows:

Character targeted
Gun Name/Body area targeted: number of hits to collapse shielding, number of hits resulting in death.

Field Master (gold) Elite.
Pistol/back: 16, 20
Pistol/chest: 16, 20
Pistol/feet: 16, 21
Pistol/head: 16,16

Needler/chest/individual needles: 29, 40
Needler/chest/explosions (7 needles each): 2

Rocket Launcher/chest/without time for shield recharge: 2
Rocket Launcher/chest/with time for shield recharge: 3

Sniper/foot: 2, 3
Sniper/chest: 2
Sniper/head: 1

AR/head: 55, 65

Plasma Rifle/head: 12, 19

Plasma Pistol/head/regular shots: 8, 13

This is all for the Normal difficulty setting. If anything is wrong, let me know, and I will be glad to fix it.

This could be usefull for forming theories. The differences in armor are indicators of rank, and stature. The differences in endurance to different weapons should come in handy in MP and SP.

You all knew this stuff instinctually already, but now you have numbers to support your weapon choices.

how did you find this out? oh yeah.... those guys. i like killing em all and leaveing one grunt alive. or getting the banshee to attack you and have him run over all his allies

I'm really hoping that this getts stickied. I worked for like 3 1/2 hours to obtain this data. And I took 4 pages of notes!

Sorry, I switched the number of hits for "pistol/back", and "pistol/head".

I fixed it.
